Wealth Advisor

Chris began building his portfolio of financial industry experience after obtaining his master's degree and Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Kansas. As a Wealth Advisor of Prism Financial Group, L.L.C., which offers financial planning and investment management on a fee-for-service basis, Chris aims to deliver a memorable client experience while educating clients on ways to make their money work harder for them through comprehensive financial advisory services and emphasizing tactical tax decisions.

Chris is a Certified Public Account and Personal Financial Specialist. To earn these designations, Chris demonstrated knowledge and competence by meeting high educational standards, passing the four-part CPA exam and completing a specific amount of technical accounting work experience. A Personal Financial Specialist is a specialty credential for CPAs who are experts at guiding individuals with all aspects of wealth management and personal financial planning. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) awards this credential only to CPAs with significant and relevant personal financial planning education and experience and who have also passed a comprehensive exam.

Chris successfully passed the CFP® Certification Examination in November of 2019 and is now a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional. Only CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals are rigorously trained in 72 areas of financial expertise and must accrue thousands of hours of experience prior to earning their certification. With a CFP® professional, you get a financial planner partner committed to working in your best interest and the confidence that comes with building a comprehensive plan.

Prior to joining Prism Financial Group, L.L.C., Chris assisted in building a growing financial advisory business for a CPA and Wealth Advisory firm in Texas, where he garnered new clients and tailored financial plans with an emphasis on investment management and tax compliance. Additionally, he worked on a financial services team for a Fortune 500 company and as an external auditor for a global accounting firm.

Chris is a member of the AICPA and Kansas Society of CPAs. Outside of the office, Chris enjoys spending time with his young family, exploring Colorado and playing golf.
