Wealth Advisor

Randy graduated from Baker University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and went on to earn the designation as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

He began his wealth management career in 2004 as a Financial Planning Associate with a Kansas City firm specializing in comprehensive financial planning for individuals and families. While there, he worked closely with clients to develop and implement retirement plans and risk management and investment strategies while also coordinating with other professionals to meet tax and estate planning needs.

In 2011, Randy joined a web-based investment advisory firm where he managed a team of advisors who provided investment advice to participants of employer-sponsored retirement plans. After the firm was acquired by a larger advisory firm in 2013, Randy was quickly recognized as a financial planning subject matter expert. As such, he successfully designed and implemented a financial planning training program that is currently used by more than 150 advisors across the country.

Randy has a passion for the outdoors and loves sharing that passion with others. Since 2002, he and his father have put on an annual event for children suffering with life-threatening illnesses – so that they can realize their wish of an outdoor adventure. Randy and his wife Libby live in Overland Park and stay busy keeping up with their two-year-old son, Warren and newborn daughter, Greta.
